IT spending in Saudi Arabia is expected to rise to some $5.6 billion by 2013, a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 11%. Last year, Saudi Arabia already far and away the gulf region’s biggest IT market with over 40% of total spending, spent $3.4 billion in the sector and the per-capita IT spend will rise 42% to $200 by 2013, with PC penetration also rising, to nearly 30%.
