Visitor General Info

Opening Hours
REC exhibitions will be open to trade visitors and business buyers from 4 PM till 9:30 PM.
Special timing for women trade visitors are also available.

The Venue

Events take place at the Riyadh Exhibition
Center, located on the Olaya Road and King Fahd Highway at
the junction of Riyadh Ring Road.

Riyadh Exhibition Center is an exhibition
and conference center of international standards. A modern
international complex consisiting of 10,000 sqm. air-conditioned
space and 10,000 sqm. outside exhibition space. Facilities
include: VIP suite, press suite, restaurant, conference suite,
exhibitor service centre, shipping offices, on-site stand
contractor and ample parking.

Visitor Registration
Trade visitors will fill a
registration ticket before entering the hall. A pre-registration
system has been developed by REC and is designed to facilitate
easy registration of international trade visitors, allowing
them immediate entry to the exhibition ground.

A comprehensive show catalogue will be available at the registration
counters, containing a general floor plan with exhibitor's
stand numbers, country and product indexes, complete exhibitor
information, and promotional advertisements for exhibitors.
Show catalogues are distributed free of charge to trade visitors.

Transportation
Automobile rental companies
provide self-driven cars or cars with a driver. Please contact
the organizer for the official car rental.

Credit Cards
Visitors will find that many
credit cards are accepted in larger establishments: Master
Card, Visa, American Express, Diners Club.

Currency
Foreign currency can be exchanged
at any bank. The monetary unit is the Saudi Riyal (SR), and
the average exchange rate is 1US$ = 3.75 SR.

Travel Accomodation & Visas

Air Travel
Riyadh is well connected with
all the major cities of the world thanks to a wide selection
of Air lines serving Riyadh’s King Khaled International
Airport.

Accomodation
Riyadh is well provided with
hotels of international standard. However, exhibitors are
recommended to reserve at an early stage direcly or through
their travel agent or apply for the organiser’s list
of hotels.

Bus Service
A courtesy bus service will
operate between the main hotels and the exhibition centre.

Passport & Visa Requirements
All foreign visitors to Saudi
Arabia need a valid entry visa to the Kingdom. Visitors should
obtain a business visa before travelling to the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia. Please allow 10 weeks for visa processing. Contact
us for more deatils. Visas are granted at the discretion of
the Saudi authorities and assistance is given on the understanding
that the organisers cannot be held responsible if the visa
application is unsuccessful.

Important: Please note the following points:
Current Government regulations for obtaining a Saudi Business visa for participants at trade shows:
a) By resolution of the Arab
League, no Arab state recognises the validity of a passport
containing Israeli stamps.
b) Visas are required by everyone with the exception of travelers
holding passport from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and UAE.

c) Visas can be obtained through Saudi Arabian Embassies.
In countries with no Saudi Arabian diplomatic representation,
exhibitors should contact the organisers.

d) It is not permitted for women to participate in exhibitions,
therefore, no entry visas can be applied for them.

Health
Although vaccinations are not
mandatory, it is recommended for the exhibitors to be inoculated
against typhoid, cholera and tetanus.
